About Satsu Design

Satsu Limited is a multi-disciplinary design agency based offshore on the Isle of Man. It was started by myself, Bob Jones, in Summer 2006 to offer an innovative, creative service ranging from design and production of multimedia and websites, using the latest web standards, to creative print design including advertising, branding and decorative design to suit your needs.
As Satsu is a small team of one designer... me (as well as a trusted freelancer), a uniquely friendly one to one relationship is created with clients which aids in the design communication process. Satsu has extensive knowledge of big business design for financial institutions through to smaller clients with less structured requirements. Each client has unique needs and so each brief is approached with a fresh and enthusiastic direction.
I gained a Degree in Graphic Arts at Liverpool John Moores University in England which has given me a solid base in print design. This has probably aided me in my direction..., let's call it sidestep, into web design by giving me a sound design base to develop from. I believe that by using web standards and creative css it is possible to create stunning visually rich websites that can stand among the many excellent design works in the tangible world that is print. Textures play an important part in my life from the soft skin of my new baby boy to the tactile, hand crafted imagery in my own Satsu web design.
Before Satsu I worked freelance and then more recently for a prominent design firm on the Isle of Man. Although I predominantly work on my own I have built up a support network of specialist developers and marketeers to work with on any occasion that requires the extra hands on deck! So no job really is too large or too small.

'They' say you can tell a person from the type of music they listen to. 'They' say a lot of things, but I figured why not give it a go. I think I've got a reasonable music taste although some of my 'happenin' tunes could be described as eclectic to say the least!
