Dreams of Africa Web Design - Go Back

Dreams of Africa discovered Satsu, after viewing the site before its re-incarnation, on various CSS gallery websites including CSS Beauty & CSS Remix. After making initial contact it was clear that Dreams of Africa was a charitable cause I would look forward to working for. They immediately required an identity which was created and drove the design of the website. The website would also need to incorporate a content management system for which I chose Expression Engine.Once this was completed a small amount of updating was carried out to get the client up to speed with managing and loading new content on to the website, which is now solely looked after by the Dreams of Africa team.

Various imagery and power point presentations were fired my way by Dreams of Africa President, Dennis Marcus. This was then collated in an orderly fashion and a site structure was written. The design was an immediate hit with the Committee of Dreams of Africa. The next step was to create the slide show of the presentations I had received with the client very keen to implement lightbox for the images.

Each slide was designed and created in Photoshop and the simple combination of the photography supplied with the hard, jagged, scenery I created results in some very emotive artwork. Please take a little time to view some of the slide shows of Dreams of Africa.
