Madame Butterfly - Go Back
This poster is part of a set designed for the Swedish National Opera. Inspired by the design of Jospeh Muller-Brockmann I sought a creative but simple solution to each Opera. With Madame Butterfly the subtlety of the design has been worked to reflect the delicacy of Opera. The Japanese flag can be seen along with the colours of the American flag and Naval colours coming together to create a fragile Butterfly symbol using transparencies in the colours.
